About us
At Power Softball, our passion is working with aspiring young athletes and their families to guide, assist, educate, and advocate for them along their journey toward making their dreams a reality. The entire process makes our job rewarding beyond measure. We do not take lightly the opportunity we are given to invest in each of our players. We believe all our players are valuable, with each of them having their own unique value as no two players’ journeys are the same. Our years of experience, knowledge, extensive network of relationships, and relentless pursuit of service equips us to be able to help all families, regardless of what the context of their journey entails. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a significant part of our past, present, and future players’ lives. This is the pulse of why we do what we do at Power Softball.
History
Power Softball was established in the winter of 2024. Nearly a decade after having national success in baseball, the time came to invest into women on the diamond at the same capacity in which we had the boys in baseball. Eileen Hannigan (former D1 player and coach, successful high school coach) and Dan Smith (former college baseball player and nearly a decade of experience coaching a high level youth softball team) were motivated and aligned with Power's vision to provide a travel softball experience that was based around transparency, advocacy, and education. Molding these young women as people off the field by the works and investment of our staff on the field. All while providing a "no frills", direct approach to development and growing their careers.
